MARTYN / 2562 - Yet / Kontrol

Tectonic rope in the talents of 2562 and Martyn for a brand new series of Tectonic Plates and another dub-tech stepping excursion onto the dancefloor. Martyn's 'Yet' slots neatly into his well loaded canon of specialized sound, using the signature breaks from his Applepips and 3024 releases to build a floaty stepper with deeply dubbed atmospherics stripping away much of the melodic excess of previous tracks to leave a fresh and spacious riddim that just OWNS it. 2562's 'Kontrol' on the flip sticks with a paucity of elements from a disinfected 808 drum palette to stealthy subs and melancholy pads to create perfectly spatialized syncopations ripe for mixing with similarly kinked beats. Needless to say - it's absolutely deadly. Oh, and special mention to the subs on this one, make sure you've got a decent speaker setup or you're going to miss half the fun. KILLER!
