GO TO THIS

I went to the first one of these at Ministry, and to be fair, it was a bit of alright! Try and get down to see Plastician, who is a big live DJ, and Blackdown (one of the surprise packages in my opinion). Big up to you two.

I won't be reaching this, as I am away, but whether you are new to the scene or a full fledged Dubstep soldier, you should defo give this a go. LOOKS LIVE!

ALL CITY

I hooked up with these guys a couple of months ago to conduct an interview. They were on the cusp of having their new T-Shirt range being launched and were just waiting on Customs to let them have their tings. Now, they have T's and are ready to roll. i will be meeting up with them for a second interview to how 2008 will be wrapped up for them.

BIG UP MARV, OWEN AND OLLA. See you soon.

PEACE

Founded as a collaborative project in 2007 by StolenSpace founder and illustrator, Owen Phillips and photographer Dav Stewart, the ALLCITY collective was intended as an outlet for creative projects. Over the past year, ALLCITY has gathered recognition as a prolific design collective, gaining commissions from Dazed&Confused, The Guardian, Faesthetic, Candy Collective Magazine and Passenger Records. The collective has also exhibited work in Saatchi&Saatchi and StolenSpace, and collaborated with photographer Fats Shariff.

The aim of the ALLCITY brand is to push their work in new directions by combining different mediums and skills and working with people across a wide variety of creative professions. The final outcome of a brief is never pre-determined; ALLCITY acts as a platform for creative freedom. With many exciting new projects planned for 2008, including the exclusive release of
6 limited edition t-shirts and a collaboration bike with Genesis, the ranks are already expanding, including the addition of set designer Jo Lee and typographer Victoria Walmsley.

ALLCITY grew from a philosophy of exploration and experimentation, drawing inspiration from many sources including border and youth cultures. Equally comfortable working for large organisations, ALLCITY also sees self-initiated work as a vital role, constantly realising ideas and learning new techniques.

The collective has created their first series of limited edition tees, inspired by the collective experiences of living in London and the daily struggles of finding one’s place.

ALLCITY products will be exclusively available at NatterJacks in Kingston and Goodhood in East London as well as online at www.allcitycreative.com. ALLCITY is more than a brand, it‘s a group of people that enjoy working together and achieving more together.

Light Writing

A friend made me aware of these guys a while ago. They are straight out of Berlin and are called TOFA.

They use a unique blend of photography and graffiti to create stunning imagery and installations.

The images above are some bits i have picked out. For more, check out their blog: TOFA
